Title: North Pole Reform School

Author: Jaimie Admans

Date of Publication: November 6, 2013

Genre: YA rom-com, fantasy

Blurb

NPRSCoverMistletoe Bell hates Christmas. So would you if you had a name like hers. Her Christmas-mad parents make the festive season last all year, and with another Christmas looming, Mis doesn’t think she can take any more. After her carelessness causes an accident at school, it seems like things can’t get any worse.

Then she wakes up to find The Ghost of Christmases Ruined in her bedroom.

She is taken to the North Pole, to a reform school run by elves determined to make her love Christmas. Stuck in a misfit group of fellow Christmas-haters with a motley crew of the weird and even weirder, watched over by elves day and night, she doesn’t expect to meet cute and funny Luke, who is hiding a vulnerable side beneath his sarcastic exterior. She doesn’t expect to fall in love with him.

But all is not as it should be at the North Pole. A certain Mr Claus is making the elves’ lives a misery, and pretty soon Mistletoe and Luke are doing more than just learning to like Christmas.

A YA romantic comedy in which Santa is the bad guy, teaching reindeer to fly is on the curriculum, and zombies have a fondness for Christmas music.

  MY REVIEW

Christmas is coming, you turn every corner and every trade is with Christmas decorations saying Merry Christmas!
And in that way I was, reading this fun book, with my costume Grinch, who loves Christmas (the Grinch has fun a lot on Christmas!) Our protagonist with an original and 100% Christmas style name: Mistletoe has a serious problem christmas with the She hates! but not because she hates the Christmas will ruin it to the other, do you? Mis does and the result is She goes to the Reform Schoo North Pole with more people than ruined to Christmas to learn about the Christmas spirit.

As Mist, we all have our own Grinch, but always at the end of the festivities, we learn new meanings, new ways and new stories for these dates. And than it would be Christmas without love? Lucas is another guy who is going to serve time for their lack towards Christmas. But on the way along with Mis, will make an amazing team, they are getting to know and becoming friends, each with its defined and strong character, They will enchant very much! are one of these fun couples this season and as the series progresses anger maturing each in their own way but together.

A box full of surprises: Remember when you open the box under the tree, with that feeling of intrigue, curiosity to ultimately bring you a big surprise? This is what happens to the book! It has moments of surprise, things you definitely do not find in Christmas or that being said, Jack is stealing Christmas and is a skeleton!, So ,Welcome Zombies! The elves, reindeers  which are great and I want meet one! are present in a unique way and fun.And what about Santa Claus, different, unique and yet Christmas.

This book is definitely recommended for these dates, the author (the first time I read her work) makes this Christmas something unique and special, will adentrandote a way of fun with teaching with a fluid story with unique characters, fun, natural, a North Pole to which I would like to go .. And that also leaves you feeling indescribably cute christmas but emotional. Making these days are more magical than it already are now!

Buy it, do it gift, take a natural fruit punch, enjoy with your family, purple reindeer and Christmas!

PS: My stars North Pole. 4.5

After reading it I think I like Mistletoe, fun, a guy, a purple reindeer and action, there are always fun in the midst of teaching the importance of Christmas

I received a Ebook  copy in exchange for an honest review
