REVIEW

This is a new favorite book for me!

Where do I start??

Already! By the time I got to read this book! It's was going on season of Halloween and day of the dead.
My kit for this book was a bitter chocolate skull and my cat sitting beside asking yourself: Why this girl is not eating his chocolate and takes hours with that device? (aka my smarthphono)

It was a great story, it is ok, to me it put me a book of suspense and paranormal and I disconnect from the earth about 3 hours (or 4 hours as I said the Kindle App).

For starters we have Jack Tremont, husband and father, with a past he wants to forget and to do this, start a different life in Prescott City, in western Maryland that will be the background for the start of certain events that Jack  not expect to live.

New people to welcoming , appearances and disappearances of people in the area, could not be more than the beginning of the nightmare that Jack will live when one of his daughters, Sarah, disappears.  The suspect: Nate Huckley, here the great part of the book is that you can delve into his mind and know what the hell is going on it! That to me was  great.

The author takes you through detailed scenarios, carrying out to every character involved in a very fluid way. From start to finish you have engaged, asking  what next? what the hell? ok, I know, I really enjoy this type of reading, where you do not know that you will face further on or that paranormal surprises await you in this journey of reading. And more if the characters have a defined profile.  There is nothing to will escape to  the author.

This is one of those books that definitely fans of this genre should not miss, your emotions are going to be from one place to another and when you finish you will need a great moment to breathe (or in my case finish my chocolate).

My favorite and unexpected character: Buddy

I received an e-copy in exchange of a honest review

PD:  My stars: 5

AUTHOR

Jeff

In addition to writing supernatural thrillers for adults, Jeff Gunhus is also the author of the Middle Grade/YA series The Templar Chronicles. (www.jacktemplar.com) The first book, Jack Templar Monster Hunter, was written in an effort to get his reluctant reader eleven-year old son excited about reading. It worked and a new series was born and recognized as a 2012 Forward Reviews Book of the Year Finalist. Jeff has been a Stephen King and Dean Koontz fan since he was a kid reading their novels under the covers at night. Seeing Night Chill next to King and Koontz on the Amazon Bestseller lists has been a surreal experience. He leads an active lifestyle in Maryland with his wife Nicole and five incredible kids. In rare moments of quiet, he can be found in the back of the City Dock Cafe in Annapolis working on his next novel.
