Synopsis

When eighteen-year-old Judy Hudson discovers she’s a necromancer and sees first-hand the pain her powers can cause the dead, she just wants to deny who she is. The zombie plague is long over. She wants to find a more normal life, but that’s a challenge when a beautiful otherworldly man, who claims to be her guardian, saves her life.

Judy tries to set right the harm she inflicted on a spirit she raised, but new zombies attack—zombies raised from among the long-time dead. To save her own life, and protect the innocent inhabitants of the nearby town who’ve become her friends, Judy has to figure out who’s raising the dead and why. She must also learn to control the darkness inside her—a seductive darkness that promises her power beyond her wildest dreams.

MY REVIEW

Hello Readers!, well today the review is of book Path Unchosen. I must confess that there were three elements before reading that caught my attention, the first was title in the series: Daughter of Ravenswood, after that title on the cover I noticed that relationship had, those elements fit it very well (the cover is amazing) and the third element was the synopsis that included the necromancers, zombies, guardians and the call to the dark side.

The words necromancers and zombies in a book attracted more my curiosity, (ok usually I use the necromancer in video games ...)

This book was amazing but had its pros and cons. It particularly if it's a series, the first book that will be presented the characters and the situation that detonated the whole saga, these are Judy and powers.Judy is a mystery to herself and her path will be finding its history, because of his powers and his way to a future in this world.

A, if you tend to explore other elements of the story that I will make the place attractive Ravenswood handled the story I want to go there! This beautifully detailed, and gives you that atmosphere that the book you want to handle, and this added to my list of favorite places books.

Now the secondary characters, a variety of them could become your favorite and if there is a world of magic involved, are amazing, every character, including Judy are defined and ranked necessary elements to accompany the protagonist in his camino.Nightwing is my favorite, I liked his name and is a raven.

There are elements that are developed very well, and there are others who would love me that the author developed in future books. I think gender is well and topics that will generate controversy.

Definitely recommend this book has a light-filled reading magic, and mystery, and Zombies, ok I was between a video game and a movie. So give it a try. It is the first and the second book deseguro come loaded with more mystery, excitement and magic. 4 Stars for this book.
