My book of the month of July: The Witch Hunter de Nicole R. Taylor

Oh la lala! Vampires and Witches!

“You can compel the memories from me, Aya,
but you can't compel away my feelings," he said evenly.”
― Nicole R. Taylor, The Witch Hunter

Hi everyone!

Well this month I spent me reading  The Witch Hunter of the author Nicole R. Taylor . From the first moment I saw him, I don´t  If It because I wanted to know the history of The Witch Hunter, for I read the synopsis or your cover attracted me, I do not know, but, I  wanted to read it, the words: Witches, Vampires and other supernatural things helped a lot (yes, yes I am a irremediable addict of the paranormal). So who once I bought the E-Book, the magic began to emerge from this book.

If you still do not know this book  I  leave here the synopsis:

I was born into the world covered in blood, and that's exactly the way I left it.

Ever since, I have been damned to walk the boundary between life and death alone. Unwillingly turned and left to my nightmare, I have seen men commit countless horrors and committed many of my own.
My origins shall remain unknown, my true self hidden. I have been called by many names, but in this life I am known as the Witch Hunter. I have been asleep these past 150 years, until I was awoken by a haunting call.

Zachary Degaud was twenty three when he died. The problem was, he didn't stay that way.
Present day, he's just another vampire with another unremarkable story. That is, until he manages to provoke a two thousand year old witch named Katrin, who wants to make him pay in the most horrible way imagined.
Along with his brother Sam, newly made vampire Liz and their only witch ally, Gabby, his only chance for survival is to summon the ancient and unpredictable vampire known as the Witch Hunter.
Zac is just looking for a way out of his psychopathic witch problems, but instead will find himself falling head first into a blood feud that has stretched thousands of years.

Aya has been asleep for the past 150 years, until she was awoken by a haunting call. The witch she has been hunting for thousands of years, Katrin, has resurfaced and marked a young, annoyingly arrogant vampire by the name of Zachary Degaud. Unless she does something, he will die a slow and painful death. He has given her an opportunity to end the witch, but does she want to help him or leave him to his fate?
Zac will get under her skin like no one else has and she just might find herself making the ultimate sacrifice before he is gone forever.

They will both have to choose sides and look deep within themselves before the end. But, what Zac learns about himself, will surprise him most of all.

Ok, as you read the synopsis, It may be that you  have an idea about of story, Well, The Witch Hunter is a book that you will enjoy if you love this type of genre, and if not, too.

The story introduces you gradually into the lives of all the characters and is giving you signs that things may get ugly but with hope of something good. And there will be more to discover in the whole saga.

The characters that I personally caught my attention were: Aya, she is unique, It is the great female character protagonist of this story, a girl who finally proves that being a girl does not mean you're weak, but it is still feminine and  she show  their feelings.

She is a great Witch Hunter, her history leaves us wanting to know more things, and might even say that from the beginning becomes your favorite and stay in love with her. Now we have male side starring Zachary Degaud, Zac is so ... Zac! Ok, He's the Man "bad". But it has everything you need to keep up with Aya. He is impulsive, arrogant and shocking to everybody but all that has an explanation or background that we discover in the saga. it is the piece that fits perfectly with its female protagonist. I often laughed talks between Aya and Zac with his sarcasm and hate-love. And even his conversations with other characters can find that little sarcasm that characterizes them (I still remember when Aya said something about that Gabby is a Witch). Speaking of Gabby, yes, the good witch of history, is one of those characters who is easy to love and grow with it. It's a character that you should not miss it for the world.

I really liked this book, I loved, is one of my new favorite sagas I've met this year, not only has the elements that I like, the characters are developed very well, has a good mix of nuances, can go from suspense, to laugh and  love, or feel you  irritable with some characters (in my case just one Lizz * murderous look* ok no!) but other than that, it's a refreshing story in its genre.

Apparently it will be a saga of 4 books, and the book 3 ,time back I had the presentation of the cover and its synopsis, check out by clicking here!

And if  you calling attention this book, Buy it on links that are on the top. Do not hesitate and meet The Witch Hunter saga.

Additional note: the author wrote a new story called The Devil's Tattoo, an attractive name for a book, and one more to the list of books I want to read. When you do, do not hesitate I  will do a review about my experience.

For now I'll take my cat, maybe do a search of our own Grimore (Witches´ book) or perhaps on a recurring dream I can find any vampire, witch or people supernatural wandering the streets

And, I hope soon read The Return, The Witch Hunter Book 2 * excitement * I'll try to buy it soon.

 Happy paranormal days!!
