by Ron Corriveau
Publication date: May 18th 2013
Genres: Romance, Thriller, Young Adult
Synopsis:
Melina has been preparing for a future career as a spy.
She just doesn’t know it.
Legendary spy Evan Roberts always knew that his fifteen-year-old daughter Melina also possessed the absolute lack of fear required of an agent. Without telling her his real profession or his intention, he began to guide her toward an eventual career as a spy. However, Melina’s world is shattered after her mom is involved in an accident that leaves her mysteriously unhurt but unresponsive. Her father’s plans on hold, Melina settles into life at a suburban high school, immersing herself in a world of schoolwork, her friends and a budding romance with Alex, the cute new guy in her class.
When Melina and her father uncover shocking new information about her mother’s accident, Melina is pulled deep into her father’s shadowy world. With Alex desperately trying to find her and only hours to go before it will be too late to save her mother, Melina and her father work together using their combined skills to find a way to reach her.

MY REVIEW
Hello!!!
Your mother in the hospital for a car accident , you find out that your father is an important spy, the new kid on the school you move the ground below you and without than you knew , you was unconsciously trained to be a spy . This is the life of Melina in company with your family.
All that cake explodes on the right to change the lives of Melina time, and thus his relationship with his father will be a team of spies to save his mother, his brother Travis in the boat with knowledge of physics, a big lot of gadgets and clear without having to let go of that is still a teenager with wanting to know of guys, have fun and have a normal life.
The book is good, has a history spying interesting, than lover of this type of read could make them attractive this story, or even if you're a beginner to these topics would a good option to start with this way of spying. The characters are defined as the author wants to represent it, they are easy to understand and enter into this world. The writing is fluid and if I had any clash with it, you can take the reading and continue the journey to save the world with Melina and her father.
The book has a starting point and a good story and I think that could give way to more adventures if not of this character with more, with Melina and her father and new characters, author has very well defined the path where you want to go, this is one of those topics that can still be explored to be a saga, one would need to take care of some details.
I think this book, I apply the "not you, it's me", the one that did not have it so defined was me, although I had clashes with her and even not defined the why, still enjoy the story and it was a nice challenge to take it, it is always good to explore the themes of spies, bad guys out there and see new challenges to the characters. In this book I am left with Travis.
A good choice for those afternoons, after finishing your duties of school or house and with a milkshake, chocolate in my case :).
Thanks for being on the tour, Alice! Glad you like it overall! Spy books can be a lot of fun! :)
