Hello! Today we have state of Review 's book Lost in Me by Lexi Ryan.

Wao , what if some of your fears go away , your dreams are there, but in the midst of all this part of your memory disappears. This is what happens to Hanna, our protagonist .

It's the first time I read a book by the author, and I must say that my weekend enjoyment much of this story.

The book is being narrated by its protagonist, Hanna , which starts having an accident and therefore does not remember all her senior year . What I like about it is that it is not perfect and the way in discovering what happened in that year , we find many surprises.

Also we find characters who are in the midst of what happened to Hanna and each is important in the life of Hanna. His family that at some point there was a break , the fiance of his dreams a curvaceous body and a business that will bien. She not remembers why, but it feels comfortable with that dream life until a young boy rockstar and details that are coming to doubt all that life .

The story as I say I liked , touch interesting topics particular level and I have not seen a story like this, keeps you on the lookout for what could be happened and as you progress the author gives you clues to what that could have happened and what happened in the life of Hanna. But it will not easy, remember it is a number and when you get in the end all your theories and even change you'll be surprised , not expecting it and it was great .

This beautifully structured and written , is clear and easy to read , flowing as you progress . With so much potential that handles the elements and draw much attention . A new environment and characters that grabs you .

This is one of those stories which I want to know what will happen , I recommended to read at any time.

Cassia pushes herself closer when I thought she couldn’t get any closer and urges me to look at her. Her right hand moves toward my face to console me, but I stop it, holding it at the wrist and pushing it back down.

“The only one of us who should be talking about our past, is you,” I tell her.

Her doe-like eyes fall under a shroud of disappointment.

But she’s not going to give up so easily.

“You’ve asked so much of me, Fredrik,” she says with such kindness, “but when I ask anything of you, you turn me away. I only want to know this one thing. I don’t care anymore about Seraphina, or the history you have with her. I don’t even care what I have to do with it.” Her soft hand ends up touching the side of my face anyway, and I’m not sure how she slipped it past my barrier. “All I care about anymore is you, Fredrik.” She peers deeply into my eyes and ensnares my gaze, her face full of heartbreak and longing. “What are your demons trying so hard to kill?”

I push her hand away more forcibly this time.

“Do you remember anything?” I ask, disregarding her question altogether.

“Stop,” she says with more intensity than I expected. “You’re going to give me this. Before you leave me alone down here another night, you’re going to tell me.”

Seraphina helped me control the perpetual urges. She showed me how to release the darkness within me with quieter, cleaner methods so that I didn’t leave a trail of bodies and evidence behind. But the biggest impact that Seraphina had on my life was making me feel like I had one. Because before her, I was just a speck of dust floating around in oblivion. I didn’t know the meaning of happiness, or understand the thrill of pleasure or the hunger for excitement. I was just a shell of a man who knew only darkness and death, who only felt the emotions of anger, and hatred, and rage and vengeance.

But Seraphina, she was my dark angel, who came into my life and showed me that there was so much more to living than I ever understood. Ever since she left me in that field the night she set my house ablaze, I’ve been slowly but surely succumbing to my old life again, and I need to find her before I fall too far.

AUTHOR’S TAKE ON RAFAEL FROM A NEED SO INSATIABLE

 Rafael revealed himself to me about two and half years ago while watching Vienna Philharmonic orchestra performing live at New Year's concert in Vienna. I remember thinking how much the orchestra depends on a conductor and without him everything would fall apart. The idea to write a story with focus on opera formed in my head. These two things acted as inspiration in creating Rafael. But I wanted a flawed, quirky character. Someone whose life hasn't been easy and has learned from his past, but hasn't let it drag him down. A character who clutches onto control like a man clinging on a raft to stop from drowning. Rafael was born.

I can sum up Rafael Van Rees in two words: Passionate. Intense. Whether it's protecting his friends or the woman he loves, or conducting an orchestra. He is an "all-or-nothing" kind of guy.

Rafael has some amazing qualities. To other people, he appears as mysterious, probably arrogant. But beneath this facade he's very loyal, confident, reliable and witty. He acknowledges he made mistakes in the past, and tries hard to make up for that.

Rafael is tall and well-built. He has dark brown eyes, which appear to be black. He sports a scruffy beard. He has two bullet scars on his shoulder and chest, both a token from his past. He normally dresses in suits whether plain dark or stripped, white button-down shirts and black silk ties. He has a way of owning the look down to ankle dress boots. He also wears the occasional jeans with V-t-shirts.

Unknown fact: When Rafael was twenty-three, he organised an orchestra and spent three months touring different cities in Europe for the sole purpose of creating awareness on Dyslexia and to raise funds for this cause.

A book with a ticket to the magical world, which includes a story with twists in time, adventure with a touch of mystery, with the language of love attached to a delicate but powerful sensation of passion, Kat Bastion forged their dreams and magick at this book.

It was a radical change and surprising to me read The Forged in Dreams and Magick, surprised and fascinated, and getting further every day I read the book in the world with time changes of  Bastion Kat, Surprised by the 13 ^th century Scotland or  of the old towns Pict, marveling the details, writing and description of the environment, which certainly go hand in hand with our powerful protagonist and heroine Isobel MacInnes.

Isobel is an archeology student, that will have to arrange a family affair in Scotland, which will make your life a turn when he finds a box or device, perhaps to find herself, love and the beginning of an adventure most there that  imagination. She is strong, brave and determined, and with a girl so you can not lack the guys that help give a touch HOT to history yet with a sweet feeling of love.

The guys in the story : Iain  a Highlander, Laird and  Sexy (Hot) that catching the heart of protagonist, but What if you had another soul mate? The second soul mate of Isobel is Velloc a strong Pict Chieftain with a touch magic. Two characters of different characters but powerful and with a common path Isobel: a fiery spirit, a different century, but with the necessary knowledge and determination for these guys falling at her feet.

Personally I am a fan of Ian is hot but tender, dominant and protective, strong but shows his heart. And Hot ,  do not forget.

The story  attracted your easily, thoroughly interwoven situations, characters, the natural landscape, the love scenes and hot. becomes in beautiful poetry the genres that describe it. A powerful write and firm, without hesitation and easy flowing. Happy moments, intrigue, doubt, romantic, sad and desperate, a book that won its place among your favorites.

Highland Legends series will be something that will give much to talk about both the stories and their author! No doubt reomendable, add it to your list to read!
