“Coward,” Talon growled as he threw his cigarette out and stepped inside. “I fight for my life, every day. I go out and do the shit we planned. I take care of us. I live. And all this while you knew—you fucking knew that it didn’t matter how hard I fought. If I sat on my ass and drank all day or if I built this empire. You were humoring me, knowing that at any moment your family could pull the plug.” He pointed at her. “You fought that war on your own, left me out of it, and now here we are in this hell.” Reveca stared before she spoke. She noticed how he struggled to remain cold toward her. It didn’t matter that it was a struggle, he still had the intent to hurt her, and intent is always worse than the action. It means they thought about it—they meant to, had every chance to change their mind but still did so.

“Are you wearing this dress for me?" He has his arm resting on the doorframe, a seductive gleam flowering in his eyes.
"Jack!" I tiptoe like a young girl meeting her loved one after he has been away for long.
"With a dress like that, I could get on my knees and propose."
I am sure I am blushing, so I lower my head and lace my hands. Slowly, Jack's finger nudges me back to look at him. "You know I am poor and can't afford a ring, right?"
"You're just silly." I am blushing red roses out of my cheeks.
"I'm not silly. I am mad."
"You're not mad. Trust me." I wrap my fingers around his wrist. I feel as if the world is slowly disappearing all around me. No one's left in it but him and me. "I'm the mad one. I have a Certificate of Ins—"
"I'm mad about you," he says. I don't think he heard what I just said. "I would go to the moon and back for you. You have no idea, Alice."
"Mad enough to die for me?" I shrug. In the name of Mushroomers, why did I say that?

THE EXCERPT

Renna leaned back in her chair and tilted her head to study Finn. He glanced away and tugged at his collar as he leaned against the table.

“Care to tell me what that was all about?” she asked.

“It was just a discussion Viktis and I had. I didn’t know Myka overheard us.”

“And what did you two gentlemen—” she emphasized the word slightly, “—decide about my future?”

Finn cleared his throat. “Nothing, really. I assured Viktis you were done with mercenary work and wouldn’t be interested in any other contracts. That you had given up that sort of thing. That MYTH could trust you.”

“You assured him, huh?” She raised an eyebrow. “And how did you know that?”

Finn tugged at his collar again. “I thought… since you were working for MYTH…”

“That I’d give up the only job I’ve ever been good at?”

“I…”

“Save it, Finn.” She shook her head. “Neither you or Viktis know anything about my future plans. And to be honest, right now my only plan is surviving this mess. After I know I’m not going to die, I’ll think about what comes next.”

She’d spent most of her life planning what would come next—an early retirement on a vacation world. But she knew no matter what happened, that could never work for her now. If she was really honest with herself, she was hardly the type to settle down. Either in life or relationships. Which made her current situation all the more confusing. Part of her wanted to see what happened with Finn. Part of her wanted to run the moment this was over. She wasn’t sure which part would win at the moment.

Finn’s voice deepened, and he leaned forward to rest his hands on the table across from her, his gaze at her eye level. “I’ve been thinking about what comes next since we went on the run.” He looked like he wanted to devour her for lunch.

Renna swallowed.

“I hate that you left as we were getting to know each other again. I missed you, Renna.” He smiled wolfishly. “Obviously you missed me, too, if you took control of the Athena to get us back here.”

Heat blossomed in her face. “That had nothing to do with you,” she protested, getting to her feet. “I was unconscious. I didn’t even know what I was doing.”

Finn circled the table, and Renna backed away from him until she hit the wall. The expression on his face made heat pool between her legs and her mouth go dry. He stopped, just far enough away that he wasn’t touching her but close enough she could feel the heat from his body.

His blue eyes bore into hers. “Look at that. The Star Thief’s afraid,” he said softly.

She shook her head, her tongue darting out to lick her suddenly dry lips. Finn’s gaze dropped to watch. Once upon a time, she would have used that to her advantage, to seduce him and turn the tables. To take control of the situation. What the hell had happened to her?

She inhaled Finn’s scent—citrus and sandalwood. Damn him, he was right. She had missed him. But with everything going on now, she couldn’t afford to let him distract her. She couldn’t think about the future. There was only the present.

Damn, she wanted him, though. Now. On the freaking mess hall table.

Finn’s gaze trapped hers as he caressed her jaw with one of his long fingers, letting it drift lower down her neck to brush butterfly-light against her collarbone.

Renna’s skin tingled with fear and desire and lust until she could barely see straight.

And then he lowered his lips to hers. Just a soft brush of skin at first, but heat zapped through her and she sucked in a breath.

Finn took that as an invitation, smiling before he kissed her again softly. The feel of his mouth against hers sent a blaze of fire through her. Renna curled her hands into his arms, and he jerked her to him, deepening the kiss. He forced her mouth open, stroking her tongue, teasing her until she moaned.

“Finn,” she whispered, pressing herself against him, her fears forgotten for the moment. His hands tangled in her hair, and he kissed her until she was dizzy, until her knees trembled—along with other, more intimate parts of her.

He pulled away slightly to press kisses to her jaw, sliding his tongue against the sensitive skin beneath her ear. They were tangled in each other, his hard strength holding her against the wall. And she felt an even harder part of him pressed against her.

Another surge of heat shot through her. Gods, she’d missed him. She didn’t care what it meant at that moment. “I want you.”

MY REVIEW</h1

Hello everyone!!
This day I have them the second installment of a series that I personally really like because of the nature taking its plot twists, Indigo Instinct.

Funny, Indigo children -adults, fantasy, romance, the mystery and adventures is back with science fiction.

In this second installment we return with all our favorite characters from the first book, gradually regaining the end and developing this new story calmly and naturally as you progress but gained momentum and if we come to a radical change within it.

Picking up where a group of indigo children and adults that are saved from being in the ranks of an agency that wishes to an end, now they all think they are safe but that could take an unexpected turn. And in each take a role, and the addition of new characters that will add more excitement.

I think the story was a natural evolution, which even I expected and I was a big surprise, took a major leap and manages to keep what I liked from the first book that freshness of a different story and a story filled with reinforced more action and sci-fi, and of course, our author did not forget this important essence in the story: love.

I loved the character development, but in some cases was expecting something different in other surprised me is flowing and uniquely designed and the way that the author has planned.

I admit, this is one of those stories that I like so simple and yet so fluid history. No need to recharge so many things and shows a taste for the author in the genre. And that you help you to feel comfortable in the story :).

Top Ten Fears & Worst Moments
of My So-Called Life

1. Puberty advice to pad my bra, or not wear one at all. I was nine then.

2. A locked refrigerator. No parent should starve their child. Birdie had called it food monitoring.

3. Paparazzi which has tormented and snapped photos of me (usually when I was at my worst) my entire life. Such as…when I’d eaten a chocolate and vanilla twist cone, dipped in a raspberry hard shell and dusted with rainbow sprinkles. Purchased from a Mister Softee truck, parked on Madison Avenue—while standing outside in one hundred degree weather with one hundred percent humidity, in a horizontal-striped-sheer-stretchy poly-blend sun dress—which had ridden itself almost entirely up my bum. How I knew it had ridden up my bum? See number 5.

4. A Vicodin, given to me by Dad to stop my hysteria, instead of a band-aid or a hug, after I’d fallen and scratched my knee on Madison Avenue while running from the Paparazzi. I was like eleven.

5. The photos of my backside, at the ice cream truck, appearing on the cover of The Manhattanite Times the very next day. The headline had read, “Alexandra the Great Swallows for Mr. Softee.”

6. A mother who has and forever will have a hotter body, prettier face, and better hair than I do. Even when I’m seventy years old and she’s like dead.

7. A father who was never around. Years have passed without him walking through our front door. I’m not sure he even knows Birdie sold the Central Park West mansion and moved to Soho last year. I should probably give him the new address.

8. The fear I’ll never meet or exceed my parent’s financial or professional success, regardless of what industry I work in. According to the economics class Vive and I took our senior year, I have less than a five percent chance to make it as an adult without riding my folk’s coattails to maintain this lifestyle. Poor Vive, her family is the second richest in North America. She has less than half a percent.

9. Infamy! I’ll forever be associated with the Easton’s.

10. Birdie and her full-on, balls-to-the wall sex with my high school sweet-heart. I had loved Kelle Sterling Dolley. Or at least, I thought I had.

Hello! Today we have state of the Book Review Captivate Me by SJ Pierce is one YA wrapped with a combination of paranormal and romance book. It was a light stroke, and according to their gender .

Our protagonist is Kat , a teenager with natural emotions of his age, but what differentiates it from others, is that she is a human with paranormal abilities , in this case telekinesis .

Because of this, I had to change her high school in Ireland aa small Colorado town . At Midland Pines, School for the Gifted . Where you will find a more unusual or strange guys like her, but of course with different " gifts" .

Change is finding it easy, is between people like her and not have to hide your skills, have new friends and a possible suitor. But strange events threaten this stability , and to top it off the guy literally " in your dreams " walks among these changes, and not forgetting the difficult adolescence .

I liked the story , for me it was light , with good management of the genus combined with the paranormal YA . The touch of mystery surrounding situations throughout the story turned out well and when the charming romance.

Not only have Kat , as I said initially , there are more kids with special gifts that stand out in some way or another .

Since it is the first book the focus is a little more meet Kat and delve into his world , and of course while you aside other characters. I liked Anna and I believe that as the story progresses each highlight their skills more deeply .

This beautifully structured and written , is clear and easy to read, Its protagonist is gradually evolving according to their age. That was one of its strengths, each character has that teenager sound you must have if you're going to write characters that age. In this story flows nicely .

The story is designed for a series and want to see what new surprises we have the following books, with the first delivery were parts of surprises and the ending was interesting , not what I expected , but it was fine.

Fluid , interesting, with a lot of potential to get more story elements that attract much attention . A new environment and characters that grabs you .

Wn recommended to read any time of day .. For those looking for a paranormal love story .
