The Black Weddings | Story / Song - #OtBHorrorOctober |

hollowfest

Love can be wonderful, tender, fill you with all the happiness possible

and more, if you love someone you're entitled to unlimited.

But there are sometimes loves that go beyond rational limits. Swinging on the pendulum of madness and sanity.

There are stories with so few lines can get a rich variety of feelings, from the first to the last print may change when you listen closely. The first time I heard this song, I got chills, could anyone love to that degree?

Hear the story that told me one day

An old undertaker in the county

He was a lover of unholy luck
The reaper, her sweet well snatched

Every night, he going to the cemetery
To visit the tomb of his beautiful love
People whispered mysteriously
It is a dead escaped the pit

In a horrendous night , He shattered
The marble tomb abandoned
Dig the dirt was carried in his arms
The rigid skeleton of your beloved

And there in the dark rather than dark
From a funeral to the uncertain candle flame
He sat beside her cold bones
And I celebrate their weddings with dead

He tied the bare bones with ribbons
The flower crowned the skull stiff
The ugly mouth full of kisses
And he told his loves smiling

He drove to the bride at fluffy thalamus
And he lay down behind with her, in love with her
And forever, he fell asleep
Embraced to the rigid skeleton.

Love is a feeling so strong that can make you fall into madness,

or maybe even want to stay in the hereafter with the beloved.

And you, what kind of love these days prefer, horror, spooky or just normal?

Enjoy of Horror October!!! :)

Movie Time: The Red Shoes |OHtB! Horror October |

hollowfest

Hi !! I hope are preparing Halloween! for now I am ... studying ... ha ha ha, but I found some time to watch horror movies, listen to music somewhat macabre and discover that sometimes love can cause fear if you are heading in vain things or you can go crazy and lose the mind. That's why these three post goes dedicated to it, love when it becomes supernatural, is altered and hopelessly becomes a nightmare.

I started with a movie, I sincerely call attention to the title more than anything, as it is one of my favorite stories as far to fairytale stories are concerned, The Red Shoes.

The-Red-Shoes

Although apparently inspired by the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, "The Red Shoes" is clearly an adaptation rather strange shaped Korean horror film that I found wandering in a system of rents movies online.

Actually in this film, which was not what gave me more terror, the fact that someone picked up a pair of shoes on the street ... (or subway, trash, etc) or the girl who went out and made up a wtf face ... or the fact that the film had good parts and the rest was something surreal that did not fit, but good synopsis is as follows:

Located in Seoul, the film follows Sun Jae, who, after catching her husband with another woman, she  moves with her young daughter, Tae Soo to  a decrepit old apartment building. Struggling to settle in this new life, Sun Jae finds a strange pair of red shoes  on the subway, and decides to take them home. Unfortunately, the shoes are being cursed, and has a sinister power over all who come in contact with them, leading to deaths and expected disasters. Finally, Tae Soo's life hanging in the balance, Sun Jae and interior designer new boyfriend Cheol (Kim Sung Soo) desperately try to unravel the mystery of the shoes before it's too late.

theredshoes1

I'll be honest, I do not think the tv screen or computer were poorly, or were they my eyes? I do not think so, but the whole movie, I saw those shoes in pink color ... if someone shoe expert tells me if that is a red, I would appreciate it ... because I would have preferred a deep red.

Following the film, there are interesting parts, very gore parts, creepy , there was a scene that I like, is that the protagonist trying to find the answer to the origin of evil of such shoes, starts falling snow blood , beautiful scene that could inspire more movies, and other scene is the story behind the shoes, envy.

Jealousy, betrayal and naivety of love surrounding this story, even though there are parts that made you to give unnecessary returns, if would be a remake , would be great and establishing a good foundation in history could take a great potential for terror. In addition to the story is also the story of Sun Jae and it's not just the fact that you find the damn shoes and she is a hopeless addicted to shoes (She have them in a glass case, each in their space), she also has a dark secret and her daughter could uncover the pandora box.

The interesting point is that a simple pair of shoes attached to an innocent love would lead to the envy of others, betrayal and unexpected end to a curse, cruel, and makes something so pure becomes so dark, is something very creepy. When someone dies tragically and joins a curse based on an object, they are very intense emotions and most of all are based on something broke the hearts of those persons or mental judgment of them, and something that we have seen in more movies and maybe in some other legend or horror story around us.

Love in this film may become dark, you get to take you to madness and want to wipe out anyone who hurts you reaching countless events that never stop, and this requires only an object of greed in way to achieve this.

RedShoesPic3

If you're a fan of heart rate Asian horror films, this you liked, if you're not a fan but would like to see it I can say that in another part worth and more than the occasional scare might get you, but if you're a fan shoes, I guarantee you will learn a valuable lesson:

Never take a pair of shoes without asking permission before taking them.

REDSHOES2005

After much debate I think the fact that the child want those shoes and transformed into that was what scared me more ...

P, S: be sure that your red shoes ARE NOT cursed, or you could dance to death.

If you know of a horror story based on this story send me an message ;)

The Review

An ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I definitely think I'm a fan of books with male protagonists tattooed ... And this book surprised me a lot in that regard, but let's start with prior to this.

The Reason is the first book of the trilogy Just Say Yes, and we starts counting the life of Zoey, who already had enough with what has been given to his twenty years Rob has recently divorced, her ex husband a mechanic working in the family business of Zoey and is also the place where she works. While she tries to stay afloat in this new situation, life will have someone prepared and soon things began to change when he meets Andy Tate, a new hired to work in his father's workshop mechanics. And the rule that it set itself: Never date someone who works with his father, could fail to have meaning.

I did not know what to expect from this book, to read the synopsis I thought; ok I'll give it a try, it sounds worthwhile, and I was right! It is one of those books that you should take if you have the opportunity, as it has a swirl of emotions that goes off in a slow start but when you realize already going at a speed that you want that does not end or rather to continue to know what will happen.

The book is good, and Zoey's life has many that we will be able to discover, and we have not only the story of her ex-husband, is more personal and profound. We also have to Tate, sexy, tattooed guy working with cars, it also has its history, and fits perfectly with Zoey, but for now she does not want any relationship with anyone, he could break that barrier. But the road will not be easy for the two and more if Zoey does not begin to work on herself.

I'm a fan of Zoey, although at first and maybe the end would shake, I think it is a character with great potential that can get a lot of juice and mold it in a surprising way to go, I hope to see its evolution I want to see you take the reins and show that strength has not awakened. And Tate, Sir, I have it among my list of sexy guys with tattoos!

The story is enveloping you and if you have a particular taste for the romantic and new adult, you will love, although this part of the instant love also counteracts the fact that physical attraction is given at first. Just as the fact that Zoey does not look ready to leap into a second chance thread is giving what would be the opening for the second book and leaves you with a great plot, with a small dose of drama to keep you alert for what is coming.
A good recommendation for your evenings accompanied by the music of this book to enter the atmosphere and fans love and second chances to have a happy ending, especially for those girls who want to be true to themselves and prove they are strong despite of all the hell that life can give you.

The Reason I Stay

by Patty Maximini

Publication date: September 10th 2014
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:

ReasonIStay

Jack Daniels is the cure to all evils.

Sex should be casual and, preferably, anonymous.

Giving a damn is for nurses, philanthropists and suicide hotlines.

My name is Mathew Rogers and those are the values I built my adult life around. They are also the reason I had to forsake everything I loved in Seattle and embark on a solitary road trip across the country, with no direction other than searching for the next small town, the next girl, and the closest liquor store.

Boredom, frustration and a series of unfortunate decisions led me to the rickety-ass town of Jolene, Alabama—a town I wanted to leave behind from the moment I passed the welcome sign. But it was there where I met her. The girl who made me question everything I’ve always believed in, and the only one who has ever had the power to break my heart.

Her name is Lexie.

She’s beautiful, and I’m pretty sure she hates me.

And for once in my life, I give enough of a damn that I keep finding a reason to stay.

The Review

I'm surprised this book was like winning a place among my favorite romances as the story progressed.

We did not start with the lovely gentleman and weak girl who needs protection. But even leaving aside the romanticism and given in doses necessary.

In this story we have Matt, the rich boy who runs around taking the place called destination without direction. But he did not have that dead end that awaited him on the road, Lexie. A tattooed girl pretty insightful that will not fall on their networks, since she knows how he is from the beginning and not let things be so easy for Matt. Whether that makes you put your world upside down and reflect on the path that has brought all this time.

The two are not perfect, but there is a balance between them that makes the story clearly go forward without spinning nonsense. On the contrary, the evolution of the characters on a soft, clean way imperceptible note.

Team Lexie I like when the players take the strong side despite everything bad that might happen, evolve the conflict and give their best in the situation. And what about Max, I particularly love the evolution of the character is very well done and at the end you wonder how he can win the hearts of our readers.

I loved! Although I took my time to read it, I was successful when the end already had read some of this author but this book felt its evolution in the stories .. It's the kind of book that flows naturally and making your while nice and the final reading that you out a smile.

It is definitely recommended for fans of the romantic genre, and those looking for a different love story and that she paints a path to find a reason to stay..

THE REVIEW

Hello :D !!!! Today  in #OtBHorrorOctober is the review of a book, Mary Hades by Sarah Dalton. This book I had it in my ARCs for review for September but I did not have time for personal reasons, but this time I chose to do it and goes very in keeping with the theme I'm driving with the Horror October. So without further let's start:

Mary Hades is one of those YA books that the dark part of me wants to read (the dark cat inside of me that loves this kind of books said: I want it!), This book called my attention with his description, and to some extent in a small part it make me remind Alice Madness Returns (yes, the game. Suitable for play at this time). Not forgetting to that the cover remember me another book that is among my favorites.

For a YA book, I think this very well focused, but I make the suggestion to read My Daylight Monsters, which is a prequel to this book (which is actually very good book) to not feel that in some parts is something lost or know of the odd data. It is a book that surprises with its character somewhat, since they are teenagers! I mean they haven't to be perfect and displayed as such and our story begins when the protagonist, María Hades, travels on vacation with their parents to a small town Nettleby for a little rest and relaxation after their ordeal in the Psychiatric Hospital,  she sees dead people and that can cause a big problem for all those around her, but that's inevitable for her and now something new to happen it will give us a tour of a new mystery, love, delusion and a walk of terror.

It is one of those books that have their own voice, but maybe it's something creepy !!! it is also something subtle for someone who wants to approach this type of reading, because it has a mixture of humor that helps go down to a level of conford to start again with this voice that makes us feel on a roller coaster. The characters are divine can have your favorite immediately, I love Mary, but also this Lacey, who wish a ghost friend that raise the hand \ O! (If you want to read why Lacey is a ghost, read My Daylight Monsters) also have the love interest (yes, although we are in terror, the love is in the air), Seth and a range over characters that could make your more days in scary atmosphere.

While there are parts that I had maybe one up and down, I loved the book, has a supernatural atmosphere which easily can imagine and is released into your mind, you have that kind of heroine to the author can bring him endless threads and you can mold as she wants, it shows your taste for this kind of story and can easily get into your dark  heart.

Actually if you look for a book for Halloween these days, read this series of Mary Hades, suitable for almost everyone;).

My Stars 4

If you read it, tell me what do you think? and if not, you expect!

Enjoys Horror October  !!

Shameless

by Nina Lemay

Shameless.v6-Final-682x1024

Girls like me don’t get happy endings.

I know what I am. At worst a cliché, at best a cautionary tale. I put an international border between me and my past, only to wind up working in a low-end titty bar. Even my excuse is as lame as it gets: I’m paying for college, getting my art degree from Montreal’s most prestigious school. Although some days it becomes confusing: am I just a student who moonlights as a stripper, or a stripper who masquerades as a student?

But the inevitable happens and my two lives collide. And now there’s one other person who knows both the quiet, antisocial Hannah and the sensual, shameless Alicia. One person who keeps my secret.

He’s beautiful, he’s sophisticated. He comes from the other side of life, the one where I’m not wanted or accepted. But he calls me la petite Américaine, and his hot, hot hands on my skin promise me things I long ago gave up on.

The problem? He teaches my Classic Photography class.

This is a standalone novel, no series, no cliffhanger.

THE REVIEW

shamTeaser4-300x300

That cover help my choice to read this book, it is beautiful and has a very good design work, looks like a candy which one must acquire, which could also describe perfectamene our protagonist. The other part was the synopsis, was not quite a sweet story but had the sound in my head Oh! this should be good and interesting.

I liked it, there is a curious mixture of characters, photography classes and art are on stage at a party in another a very different world, where you can learn more in depth the layers of our main characters. Among them we have to Hanna, the heroine of this book, a girl who has past experiences that make you feel insecure, but I try to put aside to become an independent and strong alter ego to work to help pay for your studies university, she's a stripper.

On the other hand we have Emmanuel, a boy who comes as a regular customer in the workplace Hanna, the fate is clear, he is the trigger or the icing on the cake for the beginning of this story, he is Professor of Hanna photography as both discover that they are student and teacher, began a story of push and pull very well maintained.

Hanna , I like it, maybe at times I needed to shake her, but sometimes she gave me many surprises and as Emmanuel was a nice guy, I would have liked more depth in, but I think that is contrarestaba when he and Hanna were together, because sometimes he was the one that most clearly meet Hanna that  the rest.

This book had no end of feelings that are clearly reflected. Maybe in some parts gave occasional round that was not necessary but the author manages to leap to keep you interested in, as well as many surprises as to his writing, and also lets add that demonstrate the likes of the author and is in good part because many people could identify with, and know that it is aimed lines the author.

It really is a new author for me I'd like to keep an eye on your progress in writing and stories that could create and give in the near future.

If you want to start with something sweet, firm and hardness can kick you from time to time, this is the right book for you.

Exclusive Excerpt:

Cade takes control in his bedroom…

“Now, enough talk about what irritates both of us. Let’s shift the mood in here.”

“Oh?” She tilted her head. “What mood are you going for?”

I worked my way in between her knees, then pushed up, forcing her back on the bed. “Bad. My mood is getting very bad.”

She collapsed back onto the center of the bed, her dark hair fanning around her head. “How bad?” On a deep inhale, she tugged her lower lip into her mouth with her teeth.

I growled and dipped down, sucking her lip into my mouth. Then I slanted my head, kissing her hard. By the time I pulled away, she’d gone breathless. Her lips were red. Her eyes sparked with lust. “Hannah. I’m going to strip you naked and flip you into every position I’ve imagined while you innocently studied on my bed.”

She sucked in a sharp breath. “Which positions?”

I shook my head. “No. No itinerary.” Taking a deep breath, I pulled back and stood. I grabbed the front of my T-shirt and yanked it over my head. In the next few seconds, I popped open the buttons of my fly and shoved off my jeans.

Hannah swept her gaze from my face, down my chest, to the erection jutting out toward her. “Beautiful,” she whispered.

  1. Blood thundered in my ears as I lunged forward.

Her jaw dropped open as I stripped off her shorts and thong together. I crouched over her, reached behind her back, and unclasped her bra with the flick of a finger and thumb. Then I clutched her top and bra and ripped them over her head before tossing them across the room.

Eyes wide, she swallowed hard and scooted, rotating into a missionary position, head toward the pillows. I gripped her hips, flipped her over, and tugged her down.

She gasped, face on the comforter, arms spread wide. But her hands clutched the fabric. And when I spread my palm across her ass cheek with a light touch, she let out a soft moan.

Oh yeah. The anticipation amped her up. “You like this, Maestro?”

A quick nod of her head.

“What about this?” I smacked her ass.

She sucked in a sharp breath, but that was it—no answer.

It wasn’t a no. So I slapped her skin again, this time the other cheek, harder.

The response I got was a groan as she exhaled.

I smiled, rubbing skin that pinked right before my eyes. “You trust me, don’t you?”

“Yes, Cade. I trust you.”

Stretching my body over hers, I pressed a gentle kiss to her shoulder blade. “Good. Then trust me to make you feel good.”

For the first time in my bedroom, I didn’t need to reach for the condoms in my nightstand. We’d already established she was on birth control, and we’d both been safe (or in her case, infrequent) with our sexual encounters.

I moved to the side and dragged my fingertips down her back before gently palming over her ass cheeks, one, then the other. The entire time, I gauged her reactions—when she took a deep breath, how long she exhaled. My fingers trailed lower, between her thighs, up into her cleft that had already become wet. Her responses grew hotter: gasps every time I surprised her with a touch to her clit, a fingertip pressing inside, lightly lifting; low moans on each exhale as I pressed and rubbed, finding out what she liked, how she needed it.

I took my time. Pulled her to the brink. Balanced her there before shifting my touch. And as my teasing dragged on, her soft cries and moans grew louder.

I stopped, resting my fingertip on her clit, another finger pausing its strokes inside of her. “Careful, Maestro. I’ll give you what you need, but unless you want the guys to have a ringside seat, you’ll need to keep it down.”

She nodded and pulled the corner of a pillow toward her face. Then she squirmed her hips.

“Ah, ah, ah. No grinding. I take you there.” Once she stilled, I began circling and stroking, slow, steady. With every muffled cry and moan, I brought her to the brink again, then kept her there. Teasing. Taunting.
