Blair is looking for an escape.

Blair is just looking for someone to take the edge off her crappy life. Dull the pain, breathe a little life into her neglected body. A chance

meeting at a bar leads to a night of passion. No names, no personal details. Just sex.

Well, it wasn't personal until she sees the guy standing on a stage ten meters in front of her. How the hell didn't she realize that the guy who blew her mind is the guitarist out of that dirty rock'n'roll band, Affliction? And why is he chasing her down the street? And how does he know her name?

Sometimes you find the things you didn't even know you were looking for in the most unexpected places.

MY REVIEW

Hi!!!! A small book with notes of big surprises , You can finish it around 1 or 2 hours at most.

How about  found it? Very good despite being very short, and I think that is a bit weak point but also its strong point. Moderate in the sense that a part  I would have liked to see more about Blair (my request: a little of the history of Blair, more before of this story, please!! ) and your strong point, the end leaves us at a point neutral, this point is desire that makes us want more, much more and know what will happen between West and Blair.

The beginning starts fine, is introduced to the characters intensely, very intensively and gradually you'll be appreciating the life than have and the turns  that might be in each of them.  Has potential, his characters have their weight each accompanied with its past and present: Blair, the bitch and West, the rockstar. I could imagine them clearly to each, my favorite is Blair.

I enjoyed reading it, I liked, although  I lacked that something, which is what I mentioned in the beginning, I loved it. The emotions in this reading are the order of the day.

Enjoy it with a cup of coffee with a shot of liquor in an evening and a dark chocolate doughnut.

No spoilers as it is a very short story.

P.S Check each story, West could have your attention, Blair is a bitch with style y una banda de rock with a tour with story. Include Tattoos y erotic romance.

MY STARS : 4.5

MY REVIEW

Hello !

Well, to start, by the fact that after the vampires , witches are my favorite ! That was one of the factors that made reading this saga , another could be the title Witch Song . And finally, I wanted to read some fantasy , paranormal and more. Witches never go out of fashion rather as all magical and mysterious being : is renewed.

I'm happy when I'm watching the evolution of writing and narrative in a saga. It will be so cool gradually , starting slowly like a song and when you are in the highest grade aka the book in his exciting point, you have that feeling of going on the right track .

With Witch Song I spend the same, with their self-titled first book Witch Song, I started something soft and beginning of the adventure for Brusenna , along with her begin to discover their world, a world that her mother never told her too but when that whole world in danger , including his mother , takes a turn in which we will be wrapped by the author in an amazing way of evolution for our protagonist and his meeting with herself , with what is and what will have to face to find that way.

I liked the change in these witches as to the way they handle their spells was a surprise singing ! This might give a clue that is a very different and very well created in this story world. Of course there is love, has a classic touch , and also the story evolves like the character , love does the same.

I think it was a good start, and while like all onset may have many questions and some other response was magical to read , I remain interested in further reading where I was going to take this time the author in the second installment .

In Witch Born the author continues to surprise us more , we delve more into the world of Brusenna and characters that accompany it certainly is where I renew that excitement to see the evolution of the author in his books , if the first book is good . The second book goes through it. The main character had to have a change of maturity in character and is very well run , as in all his power and spinning around and all that led her to get in the previous book , the questions you had in the first are resolved in this book.

Overall I liked the story very much ! Every character , every moment was there to surprise you, flowed smoothly and took force when necessary , I liked that it was not the typical story of the witches , but rather was taken and evolved from this basic idea. I am grateful for the opportunity to read this series and also with very lucky. If you have the chance to read it , do it !

And the best part is that the review is already the 3rd book, and is not a continuation , but rather the beginning of everything :)

My stars : 4.5 to first book and  5 to Second book.

COVER REVEAL

Awakening: Book One of The Geis by Christy Dorrity

AwakeningFrontCoverSmall copyPublication date: September 24th 2013
Genre: YA Fantasy

. . .because some Celtic stories won’t be contained in myth.

A little magic has always run in sixteen-year-old McKayla McCleery’s family—at least that’s what she’s been told. McKayla’s eccentric Aunt Avril travels the world as a clairvoyant for the FBI, and her mother can make amazing delicacies out of the most basic of ingredients. But McKayla doesn’t think for a second that the magic is real—it’s just good storytelling. Besides, McKayla doesn’t need magic. She just moved to beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming, and already she has an amazing best friend, a solo in her upcoming ballet recital, and the gorgeous guy in her physics class keeps looking her way.

When an unexpected fascination with Irish dance leads McKayla to seek instruction from the mute, crippled, janitor at her high school, she learns that her family is not the only one with unexplained abilities.

After Aunt Avril comes to the valley in pursuit of the supernatural killer that she has been chasing her entire career, people in the valley begin disappearing, and the lives of those McKayla holds most dear are threatened. When an ancient curse, known as a geis, awakens powers that defy explanation, McKayla is forced to come to terms with what is real and what is fantasy.

A thrilling first novel, Awakening is a gripping contemporary fantasy rife with magic, romance, and mystery.
