“Oh Jaxon.” I moan and dig my nails into his back.

This spurs him on and he pushes me to my back and settles himself between my thighs. He’s sitting back on his legs. With my legs on either side of him resting on his, I’m somewhat open and exposed to him, even though I’m still wearing my clothes.

Jaxon watches me with steel blue eyes as he runs his hands slowly up my calves and thighs. When he reaches my stomach, his fingers dip underneath my tank top. He moves them to my sides. With slow movements, his hands continue their upward motion, bringing my shirt along with him.

 I halt his movements by placing my hands on his.

 “Angel, we don’t...” He starts but I stop him before he can finish.

I shake my head and say, “No, it’s not that. I don’t want you to stop. I just...” I stop because I don’t know what to say. How do you tell a man that your body is riddled with ugly marks?

Taking a deep breath I haltingly try to explain. “Steven...h-he liked to...mark me. I’ve got...scars. A lot of them. They aren’t pretty. I want to warn you before you see them for yourself.”

As I talk I see pure rage enter Jaxon’s face. After closing his eyes and breathing deeply a few times he opens them again and the rage is gone, replaced with a soft understanding look.

“Baby, no matter how many scars you have you could never look anything but beautiful to me.”

His words touch a place inside me that allows some of my insecurities to let go. His words are pure and I believe them.

I move my hands from his and place them on his thighs. He doesn’t take his eyes off mine as he starts moving his hands again to pull my shirt up. It’s slow and torturous. I want him to hurry, but then I’m dreading when he sees them. When his fingers skim over the side of my breast, my breathing starts to pick up. The warmth his hands leave behind makes me throb for more. My shirt is now over my breast, but his eyes still remain on mine.

 “Arms up, baby and lift for me.” He says quietly.

Lifting my upper body off the bed, I sit up and bring my arms above my head. Jaxon finishes removing my shirt. His chest is right in front of my face. I bring my hands back down to his sides and lean forward to kiss his chest, but Jaxon pulls back and grabs both sides of my face to bring it up to his.

“Not yet. Lay back, I want to look at you.”

Alex Grayson is originally from the south but has recently moved to Northern Ohio. Although she misses the warmth of Florida and often times detest the cold of Ohio she absolutely loves living in the north. She and her husband bought a house on two acres of land and live there with their daughter, two dogs, two cats, and 8 ducks. I am like both my characters from both of my books, I think I have put a bit of myself in both..

Krinos tends to say things without thinking, I do the same. She also rules the roost. I do the same in my house hold.

Review:

OH!!! Hell!!! And to think I was going to lose this great book! Do not let it go, indeed if you have The opportunity to purchase it, do not hesitate and do it! 

With fast paced, full of twists and turns, characters that do not give you time to breathe, an interesting game for your mind, who are the good guys and who the bad guys? 

In this book we have  Kristy, she is gentle, kind, innocent, studious and a clear objective, on the other hand we have strong Kayla, with a dark and independent side, two sides of a past, and a weaving path search that was what happened and because each has a different path yet so united.

This book has two dark sides, the first is sexy as hell in some places and on the other hand is a story full of moments of suspense, psychology, makes you say: Then maybe ?? and suddenly PUFFF take a deviation and happen to have more front ends to tie up. 

TL Smith surprised me a lot, I was going to pass this story, but I decided to come to me and encouraging me to give it a try and it was worth. This is a type of story I like, and that keeps you glued to your favorite reading place.

If you like suspense you'll love it, if you like the sexy, dark side of the stories will be an additional plus if you add to that sexy guys already you are in heaven.

 An arm slipped around my chest. I looked over at the naked girl beside me and smiled. “You okay?” she asked as her fingertips lightly glided along my skin, her nails painted dark red. “Yeah,” I told her. “Just can’t sleep.” She smiled back as she snuggled up closer to me. Steph. I remembered now. “You said you liked it,” she reminded me, “you know, my name?” She grinned revealing those teeth again, which were a little frightening. Maybe I was wrong. The teeth completely changed my opinion about her being okay looking. I didn’t want to see that smile again. I turned my back to her and sat on the edge of the bed. I raked my fingers through my hair and put on some shorts. I thumbed through a few bills from the stack of cash Carmine had given me. “Yeah, sure. Steph suits you just fine.” I turned and handed her some money. “You’d better get going.” She pressed her lips together and frowned as she examined the money in her hand. “Stan, what the hell is this?” Stan? Then I remembered why she was calling me that. “What do you mean what’s it for? It’s for last night.” “I’m not a fuckin’ hooker you asshole!” she bellowed out. “You’re not?” “No!” Holy shit. I could’ve sworn she was a prostitute. I wanted to ask her if she was sure, but I figured that probably wouldn’t go over too well. “Oh, well, sorry then. You can keep the money just the same.” She glared at me with these huge eyes as if she didn’t know whether she was going to keep the money or punch me in the face. I deserved the punch in the face either way. She angrily got dressed and headed to the door as she slipped her heels on. “I have never been so insulted in my whole life.” I shrugged. I just wanted her to go. “Well, there’s a first time for everything.” “Don’t ever look me up again if you’re back in Haven,” Steph warned me. I turned my head away from her. “You don’t have to worry about that.” I could feel her eyes on me even though I wasn’t looking at her. “You fuckin’ prick,” she huffed out as she opened the door to the room and slammed it shut behind her. “Yes, I am,” I replied to the empty room as I stood up and locked it. I turned back around and headed toward the bathroom. I really needed a shower.

And 2014 was like water through your fingers !!!!! What happened? How did this happen?

Definitely I said goodbye to 2014, was one of those years fairly complicated, rare, with touches of happiness and joys, but then just around the corner just stumbled.

There were ups and downs but good is gone, and left me with memories for posterity (mmm ... maybe in 2025 someone to listen or read)

Among the disasters that occurred was the last blog, I leave something positive, I have a nice new blog, but the last reading challenge ... That something was lost, in Goodreads there are something, and though I did not finish, it was fun.

This 2015 I was decided to have two challenges, the first is to Goodreads and the second is an invitation that made me the blog www.escapewithdollycas.com, through Goodreads.

The first consists of reading 72 books during the year, only 2 books this year increase from the previous challenge of 2014.
